🔍 Troubleshooting Suggestions
Error code A indicates that the tray motor is either losing its power or not working at all. There are three common reasons underlying a defective motor:
- Its internal gearbox may have a physical damage, such as a broken or jammed gear tooth.
- Its carbon brush may have degraded naturally after extended use.
- Its cable or pin may have a loose connection.
In tandem with this code, the status light will also turn into the solid red color, and a special diagnostic mode will activate automatically. The onboard buttons will then function as follows:
- Key 1 (Clean): Rotates the tray forward (stops at the neutral position if passing by)
- Key 2 (Bin): Rotates the tray backward (stops at the neutral position if passing by)
- Key 3 (Sifter): Opens the sifter
- Key 4 (Fn): Closes the sifter
A new tray motor will be needed if the tray doesn't move after pressing Key 1 or 2. Otherwise, please double check the connector pin by referring to the video guide below.
🪛 Repair or Replacement
When prompted with this error code, you are advised to replace the tray motor for a full restoration.
