🔍 Troubleshooting Suggestions

This abnormal pattern implies that either the bin hood or the sifter is not functioning with confidence during a cleaning cycle. You may notice a blinking red light and see the tray briefly roll back as the bin attempts to reopen. This short oscillation is part of the system's built-in self-corrective behavior and can be safely disregarded.

As a first step, kindly ensure the firmware is updated to version 4.0.0 or newer, and app is updated to version 2.0.0 or newer. Here's the firmware update guide. Then, remove any accumulated clumps to avoid overloading the sifter.

The simplest way to pinpoint the issue is by running a self-check in the Popur S7 App → Device Page → Top-right icon for Settings → Self-check. If any hardware failures, the result will display a specific error code that redirects you to its corresponding guide.

Alternatively, for legacy software versions, a simple test can quickly identify the root cause too. Please enable Dump Override in the Popur S7 App → Device Page → Top-right icon for Settings → Dump → Dump override. This setting forces the system to dump waste even if the bin communication is momentarily disrupted, for example, due to a sensor glitch or signal interference.

Next, please power-cycle the unit. One of the following outcomes should occur:

  • The unit still does not dump – this suggests the sifter motor module may need replacement.
  • The cleaning cycle completes normally – this indicates the bin sensors may be out of sync. In this case, replacing the bin electronics should resolve the issue.

🪛 Repair or Replacement

Based on the result, we recommend replacing the relevant parts to permanently resolve the issue when this pattern appears.
