The Flexiguard Litterpad is engineered for purrents who want to reduce litter sticking through enhanced water protection. Its multi-layer construction combines a hydrophobic, highly water-repellent surface with a waterproof backing to help resist liquid penetration and minimize absorption into the litterpad. During water testing, the surface exhibits a visible lotus effect, causing liquids to bead up and roll away instead of quickly soaking in. Paired with a soft, dense construction that naturally conforms to the litter bed, Flexiguard helps reduce moisture bonding at the base while keeping the litter surface cleaner and drier over time.

Like all water-repellent fabrics, performance may gradually diminish with normal wear and abrasion. Periodic reproofing or replacement helps maintain optimal water-repellent performance.
