πŸ” Technical Clarification

We'll finally offer our own litter soon, after years of searching and testing. It's plant-based, mixed with different types of litter granules, and works well with all three sifters without using the Chunky-litter mode.

Since firmware 4.5.0 and app 2.2.0, the Chunky-litter mode has been updated and redesigned, which is able to work flawlessly with almost all kinds of cat litter of various granule sizes and shapes. It helps address the failure to sift coarse litter particles, as well as the issue of uneven litter bed after smoothing.

Once the NEW Chunky-litter mode is activated, the sifter will always be strengthened during the smoothing process, regardless of the choice of repeat options. Below is a more detailed clarification on the available repeat settings.

No repeat

The only change in behavior is that the sift will be strengthened.

Sift only

The litter tray will oscillate at least twice during the initial tilt & sift process. More oscillations be required for large granules like 3mm cylindrical tofu pellets, or the 6mm sifter. To increase the number of oscillations, use the Soft-stool mode or Reshuffle clumps function together with the Chunky-litter mode.

Smooth only

The litter tray will oscillate each time during the subsequent return & smooth process. The number of smoothing action is always determined by the Smooth function. Higher amount of cat litter typically requires higher number of smoothing.
