Warranty

This limited warranty applies to Popur products purchased by the original retail customer and is valid only in the country of original sale. Eligibility requires valid proof of purchase or delivery. If a manufacturing defect arises from faulty materials or workmanship under normal household use and within the applicable warranty period, Popur may, at its sole discretion, provide repair or replacement. This warranty is non-transferable and becomes void if the product is resold. Where required by law, applicable statutory rights shall prevail. Service under warranty does not extend or renew the original coverage term.
Standard Warranty & Premium Warranty
Popur S7 Split Litter System ("Popur S7"), Popur X5 Self-Cleaning Litter Box ("Popur X5"), and their respective parts fall under Standard Warranty coverage. An optional Premium Warranty is available for Popur S7 only, if selected at the time of original hardware purchase. The Premium Warranty extends only the warranty duration; the substantive terms remain unaffected. Warranty periods begin on the date of purchase or delivery, whichever occurs later.
Standard Warranty
- Applicable to both Popur S7 and Popur X5
- Outside the European Union ("EU"): 1 year
- Within EU member states: 2 years, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law
Premium Warranty
- Applicable to Popur S7 exclusively
- Available only at the time of hardware purchase
- Extends the warranty period to a total of 3 years:
- Extended from 1 year to 3 years outside the EU
- Extended from 2 years to 3 years within the EU
EU Statutory Guarantee
Pursuant to Directive (EU) 2019/771 and relevant national implementations, consumers residing in EU member states are entitled to a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity for goods purchased from professional sellers. The legal guarantee operates independently of any commercial warranty voluntarily provided by the seller or manufacturer. Popur remains liable under this statutory scheme for ensuring conformity, without prejudice to the consumer’s rights under national law.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Popur reserves the right to determine, at its reasonable discretion, whether any reported issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty. Popur does not guarantee repair or replacement if the defect or damage results from any of the following:
- Accidental impact, negligence, improper installation, abusive use, or operation inconsistent with safety instructions.
- External events or environmental exposure, including but not limited to natural disasters, intrusion by foreign objects, pollutants, or animal damage.
- Discoloration, deformation, or fatigue due to sunlight, humidity, chemicals, or air exposure.
- Operation beyond normal household use.
- Use of unauthorized parts, accessories, or modifications not supplied or approved by Popur.
- Servicing or alteration performed by unauthorized parties.
- Normal wear, tear, or degradation of consumables, including but not limited to the sifter, litterpad, filter, liner, cardboards, and trash bags.
- Expected battery capacity reduction under normal household use (where applicable).
