Popur X5 Self-Cleaning Litter Box (Pre-Order in USA)

Why did I wait so long to get this?! We have FIVE cats and litter boxes were the worse. For years I’ve looked at automatic boxes, but I’m not paying $1,000 for the litter robot, and I was worried about the other brands not working. I finally bit the bullet and purchased the X5. LIFE CHANGING!!!! I had a kitten at the time, and 4 big adult cats, all took to it with absolutely no issues. I’ve had no problems with the box, I got the bundle with the plastic trash can. Everything is easy to clean when needed. The smell is literally nonexistent and I’m not just saying that! The app is great, it even tells me when the bin is too full. Of course I have to empty my bin a lot more frequently due to the box being used over 15X a day (the app tells you) I absolutely love this and have plans to get another! My bad little troublemaker kitten likes to make it go off for no reason, plays in it and is a nuisance, and another great feature on the app is you can change it to not clean again for like 15mins after use if it detects movement again for naughty kittens like mine who learned to jump in and out to make it go off lol.

O M G! This litter robot is heaven sent (scent?). We did try another brand before this one, but it did not perform well. We have three cats and they all use this successfully. No order! It cleans beautifully, and the exterior waste bin is fantastic. It holds plenty, and it's so easy to change the bag. The x5 is x-cellent!

I already have two devices, and I am absolutely satisfied with them.

Just WOW. I have tried 4 different automated litter boxes and this one is my favorite. I have one cat that refuses to use any of them, except this one. No pee and poo on the floor. Also I have a very frail cat that can't aim very well, but the clean up on the front of the box is very easy. My 17 year old jumped in the first night! I want to buy another one, and wonder if they have a deal for repeat customers. This box is by far the easiest and cleanest, better than my Litter Robot, and I think with another box, I can have peace of mind, and can talk someone into feeding them so I can go on vacation!

It’s ok. We bought it because it said that it was made for big cats too… it’s not true. Our big cat can’t used it, because he doesn’t fit. He is not fat, he is big. Also, the bottom came with a crack, I email them more than a month ago and I haven’t got any response.

We have 11 indoor cats and three Popur boxes. I change the bags every other day. I only use Popur bags. I tried several other brands but nothing works as good as they do. When they get loaded they do tear but just use a little extra caution and they are fine. I also bought two of the plastic boxes instead of the cardboard. I love them and they are easy to clean. I highly recommend these boxes. One of our cats is a large Maine Coon cat. Several are large 12 to 15 pounds each.

So awesome and easy to clean , and no smells what so ever. One a month clean with 2 cats 🐈 using it... love it

I have 2 cats and have installed popur for a month now. It is working as expected, both cats are using it although I left one regular litter box in another room to be safe. I change the bag once a week. Happy with my purchase until now

I was real hesitant about spending this much for a litter box. But having freedom from box duty and the smelly disposal is worth it!

Max is not a huge cat. He is not short either but the box area is quite small for him.

When I first got this I was really excited and I wasn't disappointed. My cats loved it. The only thinking is the litter box design. Because it is visible my cat sometimes sits on top of the lid to prevent it from opening so all the mess goes on the lid. So I thought of an idea and purchased a adjustable shoe rack which now hides the litter box and my cat now sits in top of the shoe rack so now is it's 100% complete. Now my Whiskers Robot 4 is in the shed. The Robot 4 does not have a litter basket that completely seals so it tends to smell in the house. Anyway Popur X5 is also good value for money. Needs a few extra tweaks on the app like brightness control in the LED panel for night time. Anyway Popur thank you for a lovely product

It's open-top, easy to clean, and can store waste for a long time. What more could you ask for? Amazing :)

All in the title. I have to scoop it. It lifts up in back and the lid opens but then it doesn't tilt far enough for the litter to drop into the back box.

The app is completely useless. I have dealt with customer service but they don't seem to understand because they keep saying to do things that require the app to do, like upgrade the firmware. I CAN'T! The app doesn't work. I can't create an account to get into it because the screen is over huge and all I can see is the email address line. That's it!

I want to like it, but I don't. Maybe if I can get the app to ever work I will be able to fix the other issue by updating the firmware. Maybe not.

I was very skeptical about self-cleaning litter boxes, but after researching and reading reviews on Popur, I took a chance and, so far, I am glad I did! It's only been 5 days, but so far it works like a charm. I chose Popur because of the open top design and that it is not possible for a cat to enter while it is cleaning. My younger cat took to it right away (just like a kid) and my older male tried it right away but preferred the old litter box because it is bigger. I left both the new and old options out to make sure the cats acclimated. After 4 days I removed the old box and now with cats use it faithfully. I was surprised by the size... it takes alot of space! And it was too heavy for one person to move so I used a dolly. Specs say 31 pounds, but it sure seemed heavier even without litter. The app works well but I was surprised it had one. I can monitor usage and be alerted if there is an error. This happened once when it lost the wifi connection. Reconnected and been just fine.

Virtually odorless, sanitary, automatic waste collection system. Cats went to it right away. Electronically senses when cat leaves and cycles through a waste dump and litter combing. Highly recommend plastic waste box with auto open/close lid.

Good machine until waste bin motor stopped working. I bought it Jan 12th 2023 and waste bin motor no longer works, upset because it's no longer under warranty, for a machine to be $400 and the motor no longer working only after a year and 3 months is not good. It stopped working out of nowhere, I came home and my house stunk there was used cat litter all over the top of the waste bin, there was poop smashed on the machine because it was still cleaning and nothing was going it the bin. What a mess to clean after coming home from work.

Besides that I really liked the machine because it kept my house smelling clean, I do recommend it but with a better motor that isn't going to break after 1 year.I have bought the plastic waste bin, an extra liner so I was hoping it would last.

Very happy with the Popur, at first, we dus not know where to put it. But it worked out well!

We bought one and turned right around and ordered two more! I gave one to my daughter that has 8 indoor cats. She loves hers too ! They are a back saver for sure. We have 11 indoor cats and several are large 14/16 pounders! One is a Maine Coon too. I do empty the bins every day. All our cats use them ! Where have these been all my life! We love them very much! I highly recommend them. We had had a problem or two but it was solved very quickly. I also bought one plastic box. I will order another one too. I will never buy anything else! I use the bags from Popur too ! I tried 3 others I bought elsewhere but not a one of them worked as well as Popur bags! I wish they were a little thicker but they work. Thank you for putting this great litter box on the market ! This is Charlie, our Maine Coon!

Popur has saved my back from everyday scooping. My Kitty absolutely loves it, he's so curious after it finishes and like to play.

This litter pan has been a godsend. My three fill the cardboard waste bin in about 4-5 days. I am glad I purchased a box of bags when I got this around a year ago.
A few weeks back, the lid lift for the waste bin stopped functioning. I am pretty good at fixing things to I disassembled it. I immediately saw where the problem was. The motor shaft has a cut/bevel that is supposed to be held into place with a small (and I mean SMALL) set screw.
Well the pressure from the motor pushing up against the set screw had caused the opening screw area of the lid lift to crack. I removed the screw and disassembled the lid from the motor. I repaired the crack with some JB Quick (brush on super glue product). The glue set quickly, but to be sure I let it cure overnight.
I reassembled the lid lift to the motor shaft, but instead of replacing the small set screw, I used a small drill bit the size of the set screw and drilled from the hole from the screw, through the shaft of the motor, almost through the other side of the cam. I then cut a finishing nail that was tight in the hole to just smaller in length than needed for the full depth of the drilled hole. This changes the pressure of the motor rotation from outward on the set screw, to rotational in the cam. The lid is lifting better than it has been for weeks. I am sure this repair will last, possibly for the life of the product (Which I hope will be years!)
Great product and a time saver for me with three large (Malcolm is a 25 pound American Bobtail) cats.

It took me a while to decide to get this because I was very skeptical and I didn’t know which machine to go for. I’m glad I have chosen this one. Seriously life changing. My 3 cats adapted to it straight away and I’m never going back.
