Popur S7 SLS: Firmware 4.0.0 and App 2.0.0 are Now Available

Popur S7 firmware version 4.0.0 and Popur S7 App version 2.0.0 are now officially available, bringing the most significant software update since the launch of the Popur S7 Split Litter System (the SLS).

Over the past several months, our engineering team has been maintaining and improving the existing firmware while simultaneously rebuilding the entire software system from the ground up. This release introduces a new architecture designed to improve system stability, data synchronization, customization, diagnostics, pet activity tracking and insights, and more.

Select major additions and amendments are:

• Individual Pet Data: Create profiles for multiple cats and track visits, stay duration, weight, and recent activity for each pet.
• Smarter Controls: New Spin and Scale settings provide more ways to customize cleaning behavior, pet detection, operating speed, and sensor calibration.
• Personalized Bin Monitoring: Improved fullness estimation can adapt to your household's actual usage patterns.
• Self-check Diagnostics: Automated diagnostics help identify potential issues and guide you toward the appropriate troubleshooting resources.
• Enhanced Data Synchronization: A rebuilt communication framework provides more reliable synchronization between your Popur S7, the App, and the cloud.
• Better Logs & Notifications: Expanded activity records and notification options provide a clearer view of everyday device operation. Together, firmware v4.0.0 and app v2.0.0 establish a new software foundation for the Popur S7 SLS and the features we'll continue building on in the future.

Before You Update

Firmware v4.0.0 and app v2.0.0 use a new system framework and must be used together. We recommend updating the firmware first, followed by the app.

Because this upgrade includes a one-time structural reset and requires you to re-add your Popur S7 afterward, we strongly recommend reviewing the complete update instructions before getting started.
