This lid is a replacement for my old one, which pretty much disintegrated after a couple of years. Popur says they've improved the internals since then—we'll see! I love my X5; it saves me a lot of literal headache maintaining a multi-cat litter box
I really appreciated the step by step problem solving guide based on what way the litter box wasn’t working. I followed it and was unable to fix the machine so I had to order this part. Much cheaper than a new machine and it fixed it instantly! Very satisfied!

Works just like the new one did - however that one only lasted 1 1/2 years, so I’m expecting the same meagre lifespan with this replacement. Luckily it’s modestly priced and the rest of the machine continues to work well, hopefully they’ll make some longevity improvements…

Lid stoped opening so bought a new lid. Solved the lid issue immediately. The other had broken after 2 years.

Works great! Somehow, the gear became damaged and with the great customer service, I received a new one super quick and easy. Our X5 has been working non-stop with 2 cats for over 2 years and counting. I'd love another one someday!

Lid is ok, this is the 3rd one I've had to buy in 2 years. The motor dies or the plastic gears inside the motor that make the lid open breaks.

I have 7 cats and 2 Popur 5s. My cats like to stand on the lid while the popur is cycling. It would be a good addition to detect the presence of a cat on the lid and pause the cycle until the cat has move on. This would help to prevent the lid from breaking. This is the second lid I've had to replace.

I bought my Popur on February 2024. I’m pretty much happy with it, but my automatic trash lid broke while I was on vacation and my cats caregiver had to manually scoop the cat box. I removed the lid and examined it and the gear had physically broken. The replacement cost was $50.00. The shipping was quick and the new one works fine, but…I really expected to get more than 18 months use out of a litter box I paid over $500 for before I had to spend money repairing it.
Good product and great customer service. Instruction manual very poorly written. Hard to read due to small type.
My lid quit working after a year or so. It was loose and you could tell it disconnected from the motor. I purchased a new one, plugged it in and it worked perfectly. The new one doesn't look any different, but I hope they've taken care of the problem, so it lasts a little longer.
The automatic lid I purchased for the Popur waste box works great. So glad to have it ! Received in a timely manner. Was boxed well for protection during shipping. No complaints.
After a few years of use by my 2 cats, my Popur automatic trash can lid stopped working. I ordered a new one. It was very easy to install and works perfectly. I like this feature because the waste is contained and covered.
