General guidelines or prerequisites:
- [Software Updates] Please update both firmware and mobile app to ensure the unit is running the latest control logic and stability optimizations. This also establishes a verified baseline before proceeding with further diagnostics. We are currently deploying iterative improvements on a biweekly release cycle. The firmware update process typically requires 3–5 minutes to complete. During installation, the status indicator will display a spinning yellow light, confirming active flashing of the firmware package. Upon successful installation, the unit will emit a prolonged beep and perform an automatic reboot sequence.
- [Wi-Fi Reconnection] We recommend a Wi-Fi reconnection. Some newer features rely on updated provisioning logic that is only applied during a fresh connection handshake, so re-pairing helps ensure all functions are properly initialized. You can reset the wireless connection by holding the Bin button for 7 seconds until you hear three consecutive beeps, or by navigating to Product List under the Me menu and removing the device from your account. Rest assured that such re-pairing will still retain all your customized settings.
- [Weight Sensor Recalibration] Starting with firmware 3.3.0, we enabled weight change as an additional checkpoint for relevant modes including Sentinel, Caring, and Linger, where pet presence will halt the cleaning cycle more accurately. We also added weight change as an extra requirement for Auto-bury and Dog-proof modes such that they don't activate under Immediately settings when pets stay still in the box. We recommend reclibrating the weight sensors to ensure proper functioning (video guide: https://youtu.be/H8SOgcMz7Wo.) We'll soon isolate weight sensor as a customizable option in a subsequent update, instead of being a baked-in function for the various modes.
- [Device Identifier, UID] For technical assistance, please provide us with the Device Identifier (UID): Navigate to "Technical info" inside device's settings menu, then tap the UID to copy the full character string.
- [Self-Check Report] Please run a self-check within the mobile app, which is accessible on the device's settings page. We'll be able to review the error report and pinpoint the issue fairly quickly. For reference, we will soon introduce guided troubleshooting within the mobile app, which will be accessible via the status bar or the self-check page. At the moment, faults are displayed without detailed guidance as we are still preparing the supporting materials. That said, the system is already transmitting error reports—this capability was introduced starting with firmware v3.0.0.
